Governments are also designed to provide a number of services for their citizens, such as education, health care, and infrastructure for transportation. Governments may be organized into three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial. The legislative branch, headed by Congress (the Senate and House of Representatives), creates laws; the executive branch, staffed by the president, vice president, and cabinet, carries out those laws; and the judicial branch, led by the Supreme Court and other federal courts, evaluates legal disputes. This division of responsibilities is intended to regulate the power of each sector so that no one area has too much control over others, and prevents any one person from having unchecked authority over the whole country. Agarkar will represent West Zone, which will now have two selectors. He will be joined by Salil Ankola and Subroto Banerjee. As the chairman of the selectors, Agarkar will be in charge of choosing India’s squad for upcoming Test matches. He played 26 Tests, 191 ODIs and four T20Is for India. All governments have some things in common, but they are not all alike. Some governments are democratic, which means citizens choose their leaders and participate in the making of laws. Others are authoritarian, in which power is concentrated in the hands of a small group, often a single leader, and remains unchecked. Many countries have governments that combine aspects of both democratic and authoritarian styles. The way a country or state organizes its government depends on what kinds of policies the people want and need. The most important thing is that the government can be trusted to follow through on its promises. Governments that cannot be trusted will not be able to protect the interests of their people, and in the long run will fail. Usually, governments are made up of several institutions with specific powers and functions, called branches. The distribution of these branches varies, but most governments have a legislative branch (or parliament), an executive branch (or cabinet), and a judicial branch. Aristotle classified forms of government in relation to who has the power to rule: one person (autocracy, such as monarchy), a select group of people (aristocracy), or the citizens as a whole (democracy). A member of a Selection Committee can be removed from the panel at any time if they do not perform their duties or demonstrate a lack of commitment to the process. A replacement would then be selected by the Management Committee and a new term began. It is essential that all Committee members understand and agree to the role they play in the selection process, including how they will produce their rankings. The CFP hires SportSource Analytics to provide the statistical data that will be used by the Committee members. These individuals will then evaluate that information and compare teams on every available level to determine the overall rankings, ranging from conference championships won to head-to-head results to strength of schedule. During the Selection Committee interviews, it is important to consider the dynamics of the meeting and make it as welcoming and comfortable for candidates as possible. This includes the seating arrangement and a questioning structure that is designed to allow for conversation while maintaining the necessary level of professionalism. Using a neutral venue and limiting the number of attendees is also helpful in creating an environment that is non-intimidating. The Selection Committee is comprised of 13 members.
