Selection Committee

When it comes to hiring staff members, a Selection Committee should be made up of a diverse group of individuals with a range of expertise. The selection committee chairperson is responsible for the overall co-ordination of the selection process and recruiting members. It is important to make sure that all members of the Selection Committee are aware of the roles they are expected to play, and that there is no conflict of interest or bias. The chairperson should also be aware of the gender and race of the committee members, as these will have a disproportionate impact on the decision making process.
